A great way to welcome spring in the mountains is to go on an Apple Blossom Tour or a stroll through our many parks and area gardens, or cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway. Horseback riding and fly fishing are popular Summer pastimes in the Blue Ridge Mountains. And the fall season is just not complete without a drive through our beautiful mountain valleys during September and October to view the fall colors. And visiting a local farm or orchard to pick-your-own apples, pumpkins, and grapes or participate in a tour is a mountain tradition. |
